Is it me or is the summer flying as fast as the Tongren Lu kids chasing you down for your money?? We are already at the end of July and August is looming around the corner. As a Shanghai Summerista rookie, I still haven’t felt what all the fuss was about regarding the heat. It’s been hot but not unbearable in my opinion. Then again I’ve been chilling at the Attica Terrace pool the last few weekends! Even after that legendary pool party with thousands of people two weekends ago, I was able to enjoy the pool during last Friday’s SUMMER DECADENCE/STRUT Fashion Show and FEEL with DJ BIG ONE & DJ STONNIE. Fortunately the pool is here to stay for the summer on the best terrace in Shanghai!

This week VICKY kicks off the WEDNESDAY SESSIONS: with SIMPLY HOUSE and the best of House Music. Plus since Shanghai is the most exciting city in China, we’ll also be holding THE 42BELOW COCKTAIL WORLD CUP here at VANITY. In this year of so many important events in China, Attica hosts the China finals to see who goes on to New Zealand so come watch the best cocktail professionals in the country battle it out while DJ VICKY & BIG ONE provide the best Hip Hop Party in the city.

Come Friday, Attica is proud to present DJ J-SIX, Taiwan’s top DJ known for his intense House sessions, who has also shared the decks with contemporary DJ icons such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyke and Armin Van Buuren. And if yet another great DJ at Attica isn’t draw enough, we’ll have FREE FLOW drinks until 1 AM!!!

SWITCH is once again upon us and this time with one of Attica’s most beloved and charismatic DJs. You know his music, you know his style, you know he is out of this world. SWITCH WITH YAFITH is back with his intrinsic mix of jazzy Hip Hop, RnB and sexy funk & soul music!

This week get intoxicated with the best music and refresh yourself out on the coolest spot on the Bund. Oh and let me take this opportunity to give a shout out to everyone’s boy BIG E from Finestre as he turns another year! You know the club will be swarming with hot ladies then!
